APW Halloween Hell XIV – October 15, 2011 – FULL RESULTS: Part One
What’s up APW Fans?!?
Where were you Saturday, October 15, 2011 around 7pm? If you were seated at the Historic APW Garage in Hayward California then you were treated to some of the best professional wrestling in all of California! APW presented their 14th Annual Halloween Hell Event and did it deliver!! Seating at the balcony was the place to be, as the action was fast-paced and everyone left everything in the ring. Are you ready for the results? Expect some surprises!!
Halloween Hell opened with an amazing video showcasing some of the deeply heated rivalries heading into the event. APW Ring Announcer Donovan Troi opened the show with a quick run down of the event, but soon was interrupted by APW Commissioner JJ Perez. Commissioner Perez got on the microphone and told the APW Faithful that APW Universal Heavyweight Champion “The British Messiah” Timothy Thatcher had sustained a major shoulder injury at the hands of JECKLES and The Carnival of Shadows at the September Edition of Gym Wars. Though Thatcher was prepared to defend the title at Halloween Hell against JECKLES, during training Thatcher reinjured his shoulder, which he thought was secure enough to wrestle tonight and by orders of JJ Perez was sent back to London England to receive a second opinion from doctors about his current injury.
JJ Perez also told the fans that due to this injury that Thatcher would be stripped of the Universal Heavyweight Championship and would not be able to compete tonight until further examinations can be performed for the safety of Timothy Thatcher and his career. As Perez was going to acknowledge JECKLES’ title shot – JECKLES and CORVUS of The Carnival of Shadows appeared and demanded that JECKLES be handed the Universal Heavyweight Championship!
Commissioner Perez reminded JECKLES and CORVUS that he is the Commissioner of All Pro Wrestling and that no one demands anything from him. Perez thought for a moment and told JECKLES that he will still have his shot at the now VACANT Universal Heavyweight Championship, but instead of against Timothy Thatcher, he would have to face this man…
Former WWE Superstar and 1-time APW Tag Team Champion, GANGREL!!!
Gangrel entered the ring with a roar of excitement from the fans and JECKLES and CORVUS looked worried. JJ Perez reminded everyone that tonight a NEW Universal Champion would be crowned!
1) APW World Wide Internet Champion “Wrestling Personified” Rik Luxury w/Markus Mac retains the championship in a No Time Limit Fatal Four Way Elimination Match against Mikey Jay, “Out of Control” Matt Carlos & Shane “Wild” West!!
In a highly volatile and quick-paced match, Rik Luxury with his manager Markus Mac retained the World Wide Internet Championship against three hungry lions, but the battle was aggressive and the battle was devastating. As all four men fought one another, alliances were thrown out the window, as elimination was key to secure the championship belt. APW Boot Camp Graduates Matt Carlos and Mikey Jay wasted no time smacking each other in the face with strong Chops and Slaps! Shane West leveled the playing field with Spinning Heel Kicks and Dropkicks that left the fans jaw-dropped in amazement!
The action picked up significantly as bodies were flying all over the place. The action was so scattered – so intense it was almost hard to follow! As bodies laid everywhere – recovery was slow as the men tried getting to their feet. Matt Carlos was able to put a strong Headlock on Shane West and deliver the Union Landing and earning the 1-2-3 and the Elimination! Shane “Wild” West – ELIMINATED!
Three men remained, but the action didn’t slow down for nothing. As both Mikey Jay and Matt Carlos took care of Luxury, the two young lions came face to face for another round. Mikey Jay was able to hit a quick Monkey Flip in the corner, which allowed Mikey Jay to climb to the top rope and come crashing down with a Flying Senton! Mikey hooked the leg, 1-2-3 and the Elimination! “Out of Control” Matt Carlos – ELIMINATED!
Rik Luxury by this time seemed exhausted, as all three competitors took heavy shots at the champion and tried getting quick rolls up from the beginning, but now with Mikey Jay left, it was Experience vs. Youth. As Mikey Jay was able to get the champion down, Mikey tried to deliver a second Flying Senton, but the crafty veteran was able to roll out of the way and connect with the Luxury Alignment, the 1-2-3 and the Elimination! Mikey Jay – ELIMINATED!
The crafty veteran Rik Luxury retained the Internet Championship and had a few words for the APW Faithful! Markus Mac and Luxury told the fans that the Internet Championship was staying in Pink Mink Inc and that no fan, no wrestler was capable of defeating Luxury ever since he won the gold earlier this year in a Ladder Match. Luxury goes on to list his victories and states that he has beaten the best that APW has to offer. Luxury then issues an Open Challenge!
Who accepts his Open Challenge…?
None other than former WWE Superstar and 1-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, COLT “Boom Boom” CABANA!!
Colt Cabana struts to the ring and the fans are speechless, Markus Mac is speechless, Rik Luxury is speechless. Cabana states that it’s been a dream of his to be inside the World Famous APW Garage and the home of Halloween Hell! Cabana also goes on to accept Luxury’s Open Challenge for one of APW’s most prestigious championships – the World Wide Internet Title! Luxury and Mac right away told Cabana that he couldn’t accept the challenge because he wasn’t an APW Wrestler or one of the “idiot fans in the building.” Cabana took offense that he wasn’t included in the Open Challenge, but reminded Luxury that an “Open Challenge is an Open Challenge, is an Open Challenge is an Open Challenge!”
Cabana’s logic seemed to stir Luxury’s attitude, as Luxury once nervous turned angry. Luxury told Cabana and the fans that being “CM Punk’s lackey doesn’t mean you’re the best!” Markus Mac would also switch his attitude and seemed infuriated that Cabana would disrespect “Wrestling Personified” Rik Luxury. As Luxury and Mac reminded Cabana that he just defeated three other men to retain his gold, Cabana seemed to continue to pester Luxury until the Open Challenge was accepted and sealed! Colt Cabana vs. Rik Luxury for the Internet Championship TONIGHT at Halloween Hell!!
2) Sheik Khan Abadi defeated Levi Shapiro with the Shia Crescent for the pinfall!
Levi Shapiro definitely stepped up his tactics since the last time he was in APW, as he was able to counter many of Sheik’s high-impact maneuvers, but one mistake was all it took for Sheik to capitalize and hit his signature Shia Crescent for the victory!
3) “Bad Boy” Boyce Legrande defeated Mr. Wrestling #4 with a Super Kick for the pinfall!
Former APW Universal Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion “Bad Boy” Boyce Legrande RETURNED to APW to wrestle the savy veteran Mr. Wrestling #4. Mr. Wrestling seemed to dominate most of the match with his tactful submission maneuvers like the Wrist Lock and Arm Bar, as well as his unorthodox dancing and stretching, which fans always enjoy.
Though the “Bad Boy” was away from the APW ring for some time, Legrande still kept many useful tools, which helped him in his return match. After being hit with the Million Dollar Kneelift, Legrande kept his foot under the ropes, which broke the pinfall cover, that Mr. Wrestling #4 hoped to gain. As Mr. Wrestling #4 tried to hit his signature move again, Boyce Legrande sidestepped and delivered a strong Super Kick that sent the former Internet Champion Mr. Wrestling #4 to the mat. Legrande hooked the leg and earned his first victory in almost ten years!
APW Announcer Jason Anderson entered the ring and did a quick interview with the “Bad Boy” Boyce Legrande. Anderson asked Legrande why return to APW after all these years? Legrande responded that he was ready to return home to APW after he himself started a family. Legrande knew that the action was real in APW and he wanted the chance to fight the upcoming rising stars in APW and perhaps even claim championship gold around his waist. Legrande mentions that of all the championships APW has to offer – the “Bad Boy” has never held the Internet Championship. Legrande goes on to mention that he is back and he is ready to fight his way from the bottom to the top of All Pro Wrestling and tonight was only the beginning!
