BREAKING NEWS! COMMISSIONER PEREZ STEPS DOWN!
BREAKING NEWS:
In a statement released just moments ago, it has been revealed that J.J. Perez has stepped down as Commissioner of All Pro Wrestling!
As of midnight January 22, 2012, Perez will relinquish his duties to his hand picked successor, to be revealed at the Gym Wars TV Taping on February 18 at the World Famous APW Garage in Hayward, CA.
“After four years, this was a tough decision to make,” Perez said in his statement, “and while I loved every minute of being Commissioner, I know there are other challenges I look forward to facing in other areas. My time at All Pro Wrestling will always regarded as some of the fondest moments of my life.”
Perez continued, about the Universal Heavyweight Championship, “With Jody Kristofferson’s sudden and much deserved departure from All Pro Wrestling, we are left without a Universal Heavyweight Champion. This will be rectified in the coming days, and will serve as a special test for the new Commissioner. I wouldn’t want him to think the job was easy. But, if I know him as well as I think I do, everything will be… OK!”
Gym Wars on TV 01/21/2012
The start of Season Three of All Pro Wrestling Gym Wars has some of the best and upcoming talent in Northern California. The hidden gem of Proffesional Wrestling.
The opening match has the Carnival of Shadows looking to continue to dominate the landscape as Omega and Corvus take on Out Khan Control. Matt Carlos and Sheik Khan Abadi.
Two competitors from the 2011 Young Lions Cup face off to show to the championship committee that they both belong in the 2012 Young Lions Cup coming up this spring. Daniel Torch faces Levi Shapiro.
The main event brings two of the largest men in to graduate from the All Pro Wrestling Bootcamp in a number of years. The TheallStar monster, Damien Grundy steps into the ring with what can be his biggest challenge in his young career, Jody Kristofferson. The son of The Highwayman, or we like to call him, Big Country. These two big men of APW will show you they have what it takes to graduate from APW’s Bootcamp and to make an impact in the ring.
